Representative work

Alternative fuels

Alternative fuels process and facility development

Was a key driver in developing Australia's first alternative fuels process and facility in South Australia, and instrumental in establishing a similar facility in New South Wales. These facilities set the standard for the use of alternative fuels in cement kilns across Australia.

Recycled products

Recycled pavement and ground cover products

Worked with Transport SA to help develop the PM 2000 range of pavement materials to include recycled crushed concrete products. Helped develop recycled asphalt products (RAP) as a dry pavement material, and the use of RAP with a cold emulsion pavement material. Also worked on the use of woodchip — both natural and coloured — as a ground cover.

Site-specific plant and equipment design and installation

Worked on developing and installing site-specific plant and equipment in Western Australia, New South Wales and South Australia, for private businesses, local government authorities and state government agencies.

Regulation

Provided advice to regulators on changes to waste management practices, regulations and guidelines, drawing on practical site and operational experience.

Land and Environment Court matters

Provided expert witness services in South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland on former landfill acquisitions, landfill developments, and asbestos waste in recycled products.
